Marvin gets into e-sports with RAID Sponsorship
Marvin has today announced an initial 12-month sponsorship agreement with Ireland’s leading e-sports & gaming events organisation RAID Gaming. This relationship will see Marvin.ie become a key partner in both RAID’s online tournaments and live event activities over the coming year.
Marvin.ie managing director James Galvin comments; “We are absolutely delighted to be working with RAID over the next 12 months. This whole area of e-sports is booming globally right now, and we as a brand feel it fits in with our focus perfectly. The guys behind RAID have a pedigree in this area that is second to none, and we are very excited to be working with this great team”.

E-sports is term given for competitive tournaments of multiplayer online video games, especially among professional gamers that compete for various prize pools. In 2016, the global e-sports market was valued at nearly $500m USD. According to various estimates, the global e-sports market revenue will reach $1.5bn USD by 2020 (Source: Statista).
